With the Clarivein method, the artery is closed by mechanical and chemical damage.
A wire is fed into the vein. The end of this wire has a small metal ball. We connect the wire to an electric handle that provides a rotating movement. This movement damages the inside of the vein. To enhance this process, we simultaneously inject an irritating substance into the vein. This causes the vein to shrink and disappear over time.
No additional anesthetic injections are required for this method. After the treatment you will be given an elastic compression stocking that you will wear during the day for 2 weeks. We already have the stocking ready for you.
