Types of forehead lift
There are two different techniques Our plastic surgeons use forehead lifts, and the most suitable technique is determined by your facial shape, the position of your hairline, and the amount of excess skin. We distinguish:

1. Consult
Your treatment process always begins with a free consultation. During the consultation, the surgeon will ask about your concerns and wishes. They will assess your situation and determine whether a forehead lift can achieve the desired result. We are happy to take the time to discuss all your questions, concerns, and doubts.
2. Operation
A forehead lift typically takes 1 to 2 hours and is performed under general anesthesia. The plastic surgeon makes several small incisions in the scalp, detaches the periosteum, cuts it below the eyebrows and along the sides, and lifts the entire area in a "U" shape toward the back of the head.
3. Aftercare
Once you go home, any drains will be removed and your dressings will be changed. You will receive a prescription for pain medication; you can also take paracetamol. We recommend cooling the operated area with a cool pack for the first few days at home. You will receive detailed aftercare instructions from us.
