Plastic surgeon Joyce Florisson obtained her medical degree at Maastricht University in 2006. After her medical studies, she specialized in plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery at Erasmus MC, Sophia Children's Hospital, Sint Franciscus Gasthuis and the Daniel Den Hoed Kliniek. She is an official fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) by passing the required exams in April 2016.
After finishing her training, she worked as a staff member at the Catharina Hospital in Eindhoven to specialise further in mamma surgery, facial surgery, and post-bariatric surgery.
dr. Florisson has been working at Jan van Goyen since 2018 and also works in OLVG East.
At the Jan van Goyen, Dr. Joyce Florisson focuses in particular on aesthetic surgery. In particular breast surgery, gynecomastia, tummy tuck, liposuction and lipofilling, and upper and lower eyelid corrections. But of course also corrections of labia, floppy ears, scars and minor hand surgery.
At the OLVG East, she carries out insured plastic surgery procedures such as abdominoplasty with recovery of the rectus muscles, corrections of excess skin after major weight loss, breast reconstructions, and facial reconstructions.

Joyce Florisson conducted a study into brain anomalies in children with a congenital deformation of the skull.
