Drs. A. Tan
Anouk Tan has been working as a medical specialist since 2017. She completed her studies for plastic surgery at the Medical Centre Leeuwarden and UMC Groningen. She completed the required exams in 2017 upon which she was admitted as an official fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS). Upon completion of her medical specialised area in plastic surgery, she worked at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Australia as a Fellow Hand Surgeon to further expand her skills in hand and wrist surgery. She currently also works at the OLGV Amsterdam, locations East and West.
Anouk performs hand and wrist surgery, but she is also available for aesthetic surgical procedures (breast reduction, breast reconstruction, symmetry correction, eyelid corrections, abdominoplasty) and for general plastic surgery.
Her core values are being a listening ear, having an eye for detail, and creativity. “Creativity plays an important role in Plastic Surgery. There are many roads leading to Rome. The challenge is to find the treatment, in consultation with the patient, that feels good for both parties.”
By participating in (inter)national training days and conferences, she keeps herself up to date with the latest insights. Anouk also has a number of publications in various scientific magazines to her name
